The main function of the differential lock of the drive axle is to start the differential lock switch to make each wheel rotate at the same speed so as to get the whole vehicle out of trouble when the vehicle is driving on the muddy road or snow & ice road and the wheels slip and cannot be driven. However, differential locks used in normal driving can cause differential damage, abnormal tire wear, and even cause the vehicle to roll over while turning the corner.
